Alexa, where can I find decent home contractors?

The rise of the Echo, or Alexa smart speaker for home usage has been phenomenal.

Google Home and Apple are both in the game now and the number of use cases and practical applications are endless.

This also carries over to the home show (and other trade shows) as a powerful accessory which can affordably transform booth presentations and allow for vendors to add a second (or 3rd, 4th, 5th etc.) staff member.

Visualize with me if you will: A home contractor's booth is extremely busy. Two show staffers are busy talking with a line of potential customers. The overflow of interested prospects notice a computer screen which is equipped with the Amazon Echo Show, a smart speaker device which pulls up web content/videos/images on demand, triggered simply by a human voice request. The first overflow customer asks "What's the best way for me to affordably add another room to my house?".

Within seconds, the Echo Show delivers a video from the vendor's web site.

Another use would be to station some Echo Dots in the booth, to accept registrations for contests, newsletter subscribers, email lists, follow up sales inquiries, etc. The Dot can accept spoken names and email addresses and update them to a connected database or CRM like Salesforce.

Many of these integrations are made possible with tools like IFTTT and Zapier, who connect apps for the smart home and more.

You can train Alexa to learn your website content and teach her specific skills (questions and answers).
