Occasionally we will do a Q&A with Charlee to get a glimpse into what makes her business of show promotion tick.
Here we challenged her to outline her workday into four steps.

What was the biggest challenge you had to overcome in this business? Trying hard not to be a workaholic and take time for family! This is the type of business that is loved or hated – no middle of the road. If you love it, it becomes your life! If you hate, find something else.
What is your greatest accomplishment to date? Personally, building a loyal clientele based on trust, knowledge and personalized customer service, some of whom are still clients from day 1!
What apps are you currently using most on your smartphone? Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram
- I typically try to start at 6:30/7:00am, diving right into checking/answering emails.
- I then begin organizing my gathered leads to add to the task schedule for the day – usually from 30-100 calls, emails, texts, and very few faxes etc.
- During the months before shows - Proof ads, send exhibitor kits, reconcile specific upcoming shows, connect with outsourced service providers.
- Prepare the task schedule for the next day. Day ends around 8pm-10pm with breaks.
