Choosing the best possible exhibit space
Exhibitors at my shows are always offered the best spot available, so much of the placement has to do simply with the timing. In other words, book your show far in advance in order to get your choice of spots.
Other suggestions:
- Find out where the most popular vendors are exhibiting - and benefit from their overflow.
- Find out where the competition is. It may be beneficial to be close by, depending on your confidence levels.
- Where is the entrance to the hall? You know all of the foot traffic starts here.
- Educate yourself on available sponsorships or featured positions which may be available.
- Place yourself close to the food or the bar and increase your visibility.
- Try to get a corner spot or an entry spot to an aisle.
- Ask show producers (like me!) about future shows and multi-show reservations.
