We have a wide range of exhibitors at our home shows who can provide you with interior design, carpentry, space organization, landscaping, and more, but one of the hottest trends has to be environmentally-friendly, or "green" home services. Anything with the word green attached to it seems to draw quite a crowd, and we can certainly see why.

With spring in the air, people are wanting to clean out their paintbrushes, dust off their unfinished projects, and find new ways to conserve water or energy. More environmentally savvy than ever, today's home consumers will choose the products and services which "give back" to the earth.

There is much to be concerned about in our industrial world, from wasted materials, new toxins, especially. Having a green strategy is so important these days - not only for the manufacturers, but also for the home buyers.

Business owners, ask your suppliers and the professionals you work with what they do with demolished materials and waste.

Homeowners will ask for references with experience doing green remodeling.

They will ask how you deal with waste, toxicity, natural light or heat, energy consumption and what they are doing to lower utility costs.

Consider making your green policies front and center on your website and on your marketing materials. Don't be afraid to hang a sign at your booth highlighting what makes you green.
